Aqua Based Technologies™, a division of ADM Tronics, Inc. has a complete line of water-based adhesives for wet-nip laminating film-to-paper and foil-to-paper for various food packaging and industrial requirements. We also manufacture pressure sensitive adhesives for adhesion of paper labels to glass, plastic, metal and paperboard containers.

All of our adhesives are water-based, contain ZERO VOC’s and are in compliance with the strictest regulatory requirements and formulated from ingredients found on FDA lists cleared for food packaging.

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives

AquaTack™ 5130:  High shear general purpose pressure sensitive adhesive. FDA 175.105

AquaTack™ 5170:  General purpose pressure sensitive adhesive with a good balance of peel adhesion and shear.  FDA 175.105

AquaTack™ 5180:  High tack and shear general purpose pressure sensitive adhesive. FDA 175.105

AquaTack™ 5100:  Repositionable low-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. FDA 175.105

AquaTack™ 5200:  Repositionable medium-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. FDA 175.105

AquaTack™ 5300:  Repositionable high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive. FDA 175.105

Aqua Tack™ 320:  Pressure sensitive adhesive for direct food contact.  All levels of tack and shear are available. FDA 175.320

Aqua Tack™ 5700: Permanent, pressure sensitive adhesive  FDA 175.105

Medical Adhesive

Aqua Med Tack™ 5050: Permanent, synthetic adhesive which is  100% latex free. Can be used on medical bandages and medical packaging. 

Laminating Adhesive

AquaSol™ 2760: Water-based laminating adhesive for bonding vinyl, PVC to non-woven material.  ZERO VOC’s, no heavy metals and is phthalate free. (excellent water-based replacement the solvent based Plastisol)

Heat Seal/Pressure Sensitive Adhesive

AquaMultiLam™ 2000: Combination of heat seal coating and PSA.  FDA 175.320

General Purpose Adhesive (water-based bonding adhesive)

AquaMultiStik™: Water-based adhesive for labeling non-treated surfaces such as plastic pails and lids, poly bags or non-porous surfaces such as glass, stone, and many other difficult to adhere surfaces.
